Lifting of the Human Spirit
Whether an art piece depicts pretty flowers, acts as a societal mirror or overtly confronts tyranny, art has been there to uplift humanity in the darkest of times.

In the End…

Why do certain colours or melodies evoke similar feelings in human beings across cultures?  How do artists know “what works” for the human senses? What happens when thousands of years worth of material painstakingly created by humans becomes automated?

The best art is often the result of mining the human soul.  It requires many trials, errors, hard-earned skills and reflection. The joy it brings to the world is a reconciliation with the pain it came from. Accessing existing art to make sophisticated new pieces using automated tools can ostensibly provide clever pieces faster and cheaper. But can there ever be new wealth if we bypass the mining?

Can there ever be art without the artistic process?
